The Alabama Artificial Center of Excellence (AAICE) serves as a non-profit 501(c)(3) public-private partnership governed by a board of directors to improve development and understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
- Collaborate and partner with key academic and research institutions, the public/private sector, the defense industry complex, and Federal, State, and Local government agencies
- Improve Research and Development, innovation and technological parity and access, stimulate regional economic development and partnerships, and train a relevant, digital workforce that enhances Alabama’s ability to compete globally
- Activate people, data, computer assets and finance to drive progress, discovery and strategic advantage in AI
- Cultivate an environment where governance and regulatory approaches can keep pace with the fast changing demands of AI
